Bawo wethu osezulwini,

Our Father who art in heaven,

Maliphathwe ngcwele igama lakho,

Hallowed be thy name.

mabufike ubukumkani bakho,

Thy kingdom come.

mayenziwe intando yakho emhlabeni,

Thy will be done

njengokuba isenziwa ezulwini.

On earth as it is in heaven.

Siphe namhla isonka sethu semihla ngemihla.

Give us this day our daily bread,

Sixolele amatyala ethu njengokuba

And forgive us our trespasses,

nathi sibaxolela aabo banamatyala kuthi.

As we forgive those who trespass against us,

Ungasingenisi ekulingweni,

And lead us not into temptation,

kodwa sihlangule ebubini.

But deliver us from evil.
