Armenian National Anthem - Մեր Հայրենիք (Mer Hayrenik)

Մեր Հայրենիք, ազատ անկախ,

Our fatherland, free and independent,

Որ ապրել է դարէ դար

That has lived from century to century

Յուր որդիքը արդ կանչում է

Whose children call out

Ազատ, անկախ Հայաստան։

Free, independent Armenia.

Ահա եղբայր քեզ մի դրոշ,

Here it is brother, a flag,

Զոր իմ ձեռքով գործեցի

That I worked (worked as in made) with my hand

Գիշերները ես քուն չեղա,

At nights, I did not sleep,

Արտասուքով լվացի։

I washed it (the flag) with tears (The tears of the Armenian People).

Նայիր նրան երեք գույնով,

Look at it with three colors,

Նվիրական մեկ նշան

A sacred symbol

Թող փողփողի թշնամու դեմ

Let it blaze against the enemy

Թող միշտ պանծա Հայաստան։

Let it always stand for the glory of Armenia.

Ամենայն տեղ մահը մի է

Everywhere death is one

Մարդ մի անգամ պիտ' մեռնի,

Man one time will die,

Բայց երանի՝ որ յուր ազգի

But it is wished that for his nation's

Ազատության կզոհվի։

freedom he will sacrifice.
